First National Announces QLD General Excellence & Marketing Award Winners

As a precaution to protect everyone from being put at risk of COVID-19, our QLD General Excellence and Marketing Awards (GEM) awards night, which was meant to take place at the Brisbane's Hilton on March 21st got cancelled and postponed. ​On Friday 22nd May, we arranged our QLD GEM awards celebration to recognise our team achievements and success.  This inaugural event was hosted by First National and LIVE streamed on Instagram for our very first time!

The awards recognized the best of First National’s QLD agents throughout 2019, with the top 10 individuals and offices now competing for national GEM Awards, which has also been postponed due to COVID-19.
 
First National Palm Beach & The Pines, principal, David Hamilton, says the results show how successfully his staff embraced new technology and professional development to deliver outstanding results for customers.

“Nothing beats hard work and a solid commitment to delivering for customers.  That is exactly what our staff did in 2019” David Hamilton said.                                                                                 

At the presentation, First National Palm Beach, Burleigh & The Pines received the following awards:
. Property Management Department of The Year (TOP 10) - No. 5 
. Sales Office of The Year (TOP 10) - No. 6

Individuals were also recognised with the Top 10 Salespeople being: 
. Rhys Wildermoth - No. 9 Salesperson of the year for QLD and No. 8 in QLD for residential sales

Key staff members were also recognized for their individual performances:
. Rhys Wildermoth received the Diamond award
. Amanda Cepero received the Platinum award
. Jason Taylor received the Gold award
. Dean Trewin received the Silver award
. Dale Harris received the Silver award
. Maarten Gravendyk received the Silver award
. Celine Battendier received the Service award

David Hamilton said the First National GEM Awards are an important event as they encourage First National’s agents to aspire to an ongoing process of performance improvement that benefits customers.

This celebration also presents an opportunity for members to come together and share their thoughts and views on the industry and events that affect them.
