Currumbin Waters - Gold Coast's most sought-after suburb!

According to a recent article published on REA, Currumbin Waters is officially hot property.  This has been backed up by our First National agent Dean Trewin who reports buyers are lining up to get into the Currumbin Waters market.

Data released by realestate.com.au this week shows more than 3500 searches were performed for properties in Currumbin Waters in the three months to January, making it the most-searched Gold Coast suburb.

While traditional hot spots Mermaid Waters, Burleigh Waters and Broadbeach Waters ranked two, three and eight respectively, southern suburbs including Tugun, Elanora, Palm Beach and Currumbin dominated the top 10.

Our agent from The Pines office, Dean Trewin believes the latest interest in Currumbin Waters, was largely driven by the boom in Palm Beach.  With Dean's recent sale at 7 Coote Court, Currumbin Waters, there was a clear indication that the high price point in Palm Beach was driving buyers into surrounding suburbs where their money could go further.

"At my first Saturday open home, I had 39 groups through. By the end of the weekend I had 7 written offers. By the Monday, I secured a contract on this property," he said.
