Staging Your Home For Sale

Styling a home for sale is commonly known today as “Home Staging”.

My name is Michelle Weston Senior Consultant of ALLURE Home Staging on the Gold Coast. Home Staging is not a new concept, although it may still be unknown or foreign to many homeowners, the process of staging property for sale has very much been alive and working well for over 40 years.

Presentation is a vital component when selling a property, staging your home for sale is one of the three requirements for a great sale. Staging a property for sale does make a difference and has been proven time and time again to achieve the best results for the seller. In some cases, the staged homes have sold 30 - 50% faster and yielding a profit of 7 to 17% more than those not staged.

I am asked the same question all the time, ”why stage my property for sale?”
In my experience, the three key elements to a successful sale are…

  1. Appoint a great real estate agent.
  2. Price the property accordingly which will ultimately help to obtain multiple offers.
  3. Great presentation, it’s crucial to showcase the property in it’s best potential.

So as the most commonly asked question, “why stage my property for sale?” I say, “why not!”

My advice for you, the invested seller would be do some thorough research before placing your property on the market. Look at the beautifully presented and styled properties in the capital cities on the market, for example Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane as an example of how appealing they are to a buyer.

Don’t be left behind… The Gold Coast is now catching up and thriving with more and more real estate agents understanding the benefits and results of property styling for homeowners. Be remembered, not forgotten! Your property needs to stand out from other properties on the market in the same price range.

The team at First National Palm Beach knows and understands this process more than anyone. They are honest, hard-working and professional businessman and woman alike who are working for you, the seller. Appoint First National as your leading agency and get noticed when selling your most prised and loved possession, your home.
