We Sold the Most Viewed Property in Queensland in 2016A coastal villa on the market for $479,000 is the only Queensland property to have cracked the top ten most-viewed homes on realestate.com.au between Sunday, December 4 and Saturday, December 10.
The latest weekly report ranks 4/31 Tallebudgera Creek Rd, Burleigh Headssixth on the national table behind three Victorian houses, a New South Wales unit and a Tasmanian property.

First National’s Rhys Wildermoth said the renovated three-bedroom, two-bathroom Gold Coast listing was under contract within 48 hours.
“I’m still getting enquiries about that property now but I do think that it’s under $500,000, a villa, and basically first home buyers are getting kicked out of the market so maybe it had a lot to do with the price bracket,” he said.

Mr Wildermoth said the property appealed to a wide variety of house hunters which may’ve contributed to the huge level of interest.
“Villas are hard to come by and they do open you up to a much bigger range of buyers,” he said.
“There are a lot of townhouses but you’re basically cutting out buyers in their 60s and 70s because of stairs.”

Mr Wildermoth also believed a 3D tour included in the listing on realestate.com.au attracted viewer numbers.
“I think it’s got a lot to do with our 3D camera work we do on our properties now,” he said.
“I put it down to photography, the virtual tour and the way it’s been marketed.”
